The Rossburn Guides and Cubs offer help on Saturday December 18 from 1 to 5 PM for tasks like groceries, tree setup, tidying, snow shoveling, and errands. Coordinator Nita Dueck arranges visits. call 859-2758 to request a guide or cub.
Ernie Antonow reported on the MRCA annual meeting in Brandon on November 20 noting no RAS attendance. Actions approved include publishing annual minutes and audited financial statements, updating building insurance, 1983 building projects, temporary bookkeeper grant, a policy committee study on barn stall rents, 1984 membership fee set at 2.50, renewal of Rossburn Festivities Inc. charter, and various officer appointments and accounting reforms.
This month’s Crossroads contains Christmas greetings from Rossburn Shoal Lake and nearby communities. A regular edition of The Review will be published next week, marking the last issue of 1982.
