Drama Group Presents Stage Night An Evening of Play and Pride
The high school drama troupe gathers after school to rehearse with dedication and camaraderie. Rossburn Fire Department to inspect all commercial buildings
The Rossburn Fire Department, a volunteer effort led by Fire Chief Larry Huston, will inspect every commercial building in Rossburn and the surrounding RM to improve safety and reduce fire losses. Firefighters will answer questions and promote fire safety during visits.

Power Outage Hits Rossburn Area After High Winds
A December 2 power disruption affected Rossburn and nearby communities for about three hours. A spruce tree near the Town Hall fell on hydro lines during freezing rain, knocking out power around 6 45 AM and restoring by 10 AM. Roads along highways and secondary routes became treacherous.

Eighty per cent of 49 Manitoba School Boards responding to the MAST budget survey back a 6 per cent limit for 1983. The Provincial Executive urged wage controls or voluntary restraint, asked boards not to exceed 6 per cent increases, and pressed cooperation with teachers and MLAs while noting the 10.4 per cent provincial increase.
