Sally Gunning's Hot Water struggles to surface
In The Rossburn Review Sally Gunning's debut mystery Hot Water begins slow before revealing Edna Hitchcock's murder. Peter Bartholomew, an odd-job man, uncovers the murder but lags in conclusions as the plot introduces his ex wife Connie and the dead woman's daughter as chief suspects. The review notes uneven pacing with a promising core.
