The 1990 Neepawa and District United Way campaign sits about halfway to its $50 000 goal with $25 000 raised so far. Manitoba Liquor Import Fees Set for Travelers
Manitoba sets a nine litre limit on imported liquor equal to twelve 750 ml bottles or 24 beer cans. Mr. McCrae says the rate won’t inconvenience travelers as surveys show average purchases fall below it, and notes border levies since 1974 are very low hurting Manitoba’s hospitality sector especially beer.
