John Mazur Obituary Died After Long Illness at 68
John Mazur aged 68, born in Western Ukraine, died November 17 1965 at Sacred Heart Hospital Russell after a long illness. He lived in Angusville after farming in Lakedale district and is survived by wife Jessie two daughters Lillian Parabee Olga Kowalchuk a son Alex Jr a brother Alex Mazur Sr and three granddaughters. Funeral November 20 at Ukr Catholic Church Angusville with Rev John Lehky. interment in local cemetery. Pallbearers named Mazur Yaskiw Gallant Nychak and others.

The Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church announces a service scheduled for Sunday December 12. Community members are invited to attend at the church location and observe the traditional rites.
United Church Women Meet at Vista U C W
The Vista United Church Women met Wednesday at Mrs. Dick Baker's home with 11 members and 3 visitors. A Christmas devotional was led by Joan Baker and Steffie Belinsky. The group approved a 10 dollar Bible Society donation and a 20 dollar over and above gift. Mrs. H A Hamilton was named Vista U C W representative to the Rossburn U C W manse committee. Officers named Morley Brown president Dick Baker vice pres Lil Thompson secretary H A Hamilton treasurer M Miller press reporter M Miller. Christmas gifts were exchanged and coffee served. The next meeting is Jan 5 at Mrs. Wm Stitt with H A Hamilton leading devotional.
