Presbytery Holds November Meeting at Birtle
The Rossburn Review reports Birtle Presbytery met November 24 with about 55 delegates. Rev. Alistair Riddell chaired. Rev. John Hogman addressed faithfulness over numbers, and committees met on Evangelism, Education, Stewardship, and Personnel. A proposal to reduce presbytery size from eight to six aims to cut costs amid recession and demographic shifts.
