Immunization reminder issued for Manitoba school entrants
Education Minister Maureen Hemphill and Health Minister Larry Desjardins urge parents to immunize children entering public schools. New provisions require a medical certificate proving measles immunity or vaccination. transfers also require certificates. Bill 77 allows health or religious exemptions. Four measles cases were reported last summer, the first in nearly two years.
