Carson family hosts Japanese student on cultural exchange trip
The Carson family of Rossburn hosted a Japanese student in 1985 through the York-Benimaru Foundation, part of Manitoba 4-H exchanges. Neil and others described adapting to life in Japan during a 17 day stay with factory tours and school attendance, noting language gaps and cultural similarities and differences.
