Ukrainian Voice Aid to Ukraine drives clothing and food parcels
The Ukrainian Voice Aid to Ukraine Committee reports over 300 food parcels and more than 2 400 clothing parcels sent to Ukraine and its needy. In its seventh year the group seeks clothing footwear school supplies and monetary gifts to cover shipping. This spring the Ukrainian People's Home in Rossburn gathered about 100 boxes of clothing and $150 cash with Gardewine North Transfer delivering the items to Winnipeg free of charge.

The Manitoba Lung Association reports over 75000 in total funds for its Back the Attack on Asthma drive with more than 24600 from the Westman office. Brandon city donors total 15000 while external contributions approach 10000. The effort supports asthma education, research, and patient care across Manitoba with community booths and clinics.
