Rossburn Village Council Meeting Minutes August 1967
The Rossburn Village Council met August 15 1967 with Mayor Peter Wladyka and councilors Antonin Verbow ski Kombyr and Baubin present. Minutes were read and adopted and financial and constable reports approved. Council requested Highway sign postings and a school zone near Rossburn Collegiate. By law 401 for medical nursing unit expansion passed. Building permit for Calvin Brown approved and secretary‑treasurer holidays approved. Bills totaling 3716.28 were paid and next meeting set for September 18 1967.

Florence Jean Brown Weds Frank Edward Barker in Langley
Florence Jean Brown daughter of Morley and Mrs. Brown of Vista Manitoba married Frank Edward Barker son of Mrs. Mary Penno and the late Mr. George Barker at Langley United Church in 1967. Rev Norah Hughes officiated. The bride wore white peau de soie satin with seed pearls and a chapel train. Attendants wore apricot dresses with daisy motifs.
