Skalbania's plans for a transnational league mocked by critics
The piece debunks Nelson Skalbania's idea of a nine CFL plus 11 U S football league with teams in Shreveport Syracuse and Memphis. It argues the plan clashes with the CFL Charter and NFL interests, warns of U S TV dominance and stadium limits, and questions Canadian player impact. The author dismisses the venture as impractical and laughs at the speculation.
