Reminder to Remove Keys From Vehicles in Rossburn
The Rossburn RCMP urge residents to remove keys and lock doors when leaving vehicles unattended. In 1985 twenty vehicles were stolen in the detachment area, many due to keys left in cars. one was hot wired. All vehicles were recovered, some damaged. Police will check parked cars and leave notices. Headlights must be on from 30 minutes before sunset to 30 minutes after sunrise and in low light to improve visibility.

Rossburn Elementary pupils collected five awards at the Western Manitoba Science Fair held Friday at the Keystone Centre in Brandon. The event drew 516 entries from 763 students.

Two Car Collision Fatal Near Rossburn
An early morning highway crash on Highway 45 west of Rossburn on April 23 killed Stanley Fleury, 38, of Binscarth. The east bound driver’s car struck a westbound vehicle carrying Jim and Netta Smith of Rossburn. the Smiths were injured and hospitalized in Rossburn.
