Fine Effort By R.C.S. Badminton Team
The RCS badminton team placed well at the zone tournament held April 21 1976 at Major Pratt School Russell. Ken Ament won boys singles while Elaine Tanasychuk and Diane Walmsley won girls doubles for the second straight year. Ed Nychuk and Fred Chuckrey took boys doubles as Rossburn leaders. The team earned nine players to the Brandon regional April 24 and finished with strong showings across categories.

Rossburn Village Council Sets April Actions
The April 8 Rossburn council meeting approved minutes as read and heard delegations from the Rossburn Senior Citizens New Horizons Group on land for lawn bowling and water needs. Fire Chief Mike Antonin was invited to discuss mutual aid and training and was authorized to attend a prevention officers school May 17 to 21 with travel expenses covered.
