Village Council Sets Property Sale and Hospital Help
At the April 18 Rossburn meeting all councillors were present. The council accepted a $400 bid for village property with a life lease for the seller and approved a life-to-life donation plan for hospital needs while authorizing new street-name changes, a traffic by law, and condolences on budget matters. The Hospital Deficit was discussed and a $40 contribution approved. A tag Day was permissioned for MFAC on June 17 and officials were updated on curling rink measurements. The council also requested bids on debentures and prepared to reconvene on May 16. Donations from T Eaton Co. and others were acknowledged and calls for further support were urged.
