Mr and Mrs Aljez Urinwuk of Rossburn Manitoba marked their diamond wedding anniversary with a at home gathering. Married April 13 1886 in Stalingrad Russia they moved to Canada in 1895 homesteading at Hossburn. They have 15 children many grandchildren and great grandchildren with several relatives listed in the report.
Mr William Hathiday of Vista was appointed by the United Church Quarterly Official Board as delegate to the Presbytery meeting at Minnedosa on April 23 and 24. He plans to travel by horse and buggy to Kellce to catch a train, as roads are poor and few ride to the gathering.
Mrs John Spilchuk left for Winnipeg last week. Mr Mike Baydock travelled to Angueville on business. Mrs M Bereza underwent an operation in Winnipeg about a month ago and is recovering satisfactorily. Mr Nick Hyra of Angusville has completed sawing logs and has left for some work. Mr Mike Kazan bought a new tractor from Roy Irwin at Hoseburn.
