The village of Rossburn declares Friday May 28 as its School Field Day. Sponsored by Gre Rossburn and District Hearts of Trade, several committees are formed. A dance featuring Art Olson will cap the gala. Further details to follow.
Mr Hector Cameron keeps his flow tractor as far as Solsgirt. Friends gathered at Mrs Bolton’s home last week to assist with the quitting bee. Mrs M Colingridge returned from Vista where she visited her daughter Mrs Clayton. Mr Wm Brooks visits friends in the district before leaving for Quil Lake to manage the large grain farm of Mr C Peter.
Mrs Parmalee returned to her home after visiting Winnipeg for ten days. Friends wish Margaret Taylor a speedy recovery. Mr Jos Peden sold his house to Mr Fred Swerencda of Kelloe district. Mr and Mrs Alan Smith and Gail of MacNutt Sask arrived Saturday to visit Mrs M G Crookshanks who is in hospital.
Albert Wakefield motored to Brandon and returned Thursday with a new automobile.
Mrs George Gunn of Saltcoats Sask is visiting with her father here.
Tir Shaver and William Brown were moored to Wirn'nee on Saturday. Mrs Shaver will accompany them on the return trip.
Rev and Mrs Mack accept a call to Fort Francis On. Attend their farewell service Sunday evening April 25. Postmaster J G Stitt and Mrs Stitt with Robert and Donald left for Branson Tuesday for an executive meeting of the Canadian Postmasters Association then to Winnipeg and back Friday.
Nick Horn working near Prince George B C returns home in April. Evelyn and Sylvia Drosdoski of Silverton visit with grandmother Mrs P Ka'inuk. Pete Kostuik travels to Winnipeg with Nick Magnoski Matt Sanko and Tonie Magnoski. Chuchmuch family returns from Price George B C after winter with the parents.
A party in honor of Hashalle Paisner’s fourteenth birthday was held at her home on April 12. Rashalle received many beautiful gifts and the evening featured games and singing followed by a tasty launch.
The Junior Ladies Aid invites all ages to a Birthday Cake Social in the Jub room on Tuesday April 27 at 8 30 pm. Prizes for relays games and erokinole. Pay for lunch and the birthday box style gift equal to each year of the attendee's age. Bring friends.

A Thursday April 15 card party drew good attendance. Prizes went to first place team Mre Adam Chaytor and Johnn'e Probee, second to Agnes Ka'enuk and Dan Sebeski.
