A readable fragment shows a Sunday mass at St Theresa Church on April 24 1956 at 11:00 a.m and an additional service at Oakburn at 4:00 p.m. Rev F Cieply appears as the clergy. Names and places are partially legible.
The church lists activities for the week with a Sunday School at 10 30 a m worship at 11 30 a m evangelistic service at 7 30 p m a Monday Happy Hour Bible Club at 4 15 p m a Wednesday Midweek Prayer Service and Friday 8 p m Christ Ambassadors meeting.
The Rural Municipality of Clanwilliam council met April 13 1955 and approved the March 9 1955 minutes. They donated $10 to the Fair Exhibit Committee and paid $30 membership to the Union of Manitoba Municipalities. Delegation expenses to Utility Board of Dauphin approved for Basile Woloshen and H R Paulsen. Meeting adjourned to May 11 1955.

School reopened April 18 after holidays. Mr and Mrs D Leckie have moved to a farm in McGregor. Mrs P Zegalski and girls visited town. A car load of Vista hockey fans saw a Brandon game. Rats harvested this spring. Sunday visitors included Wilson Hullick from Inglis James Lyall and family from Kenton Mack Hamilton and family.
