Silver Creek Centennial plans move forward in Angussville
The Silver Creek Centennial Committee held an April 10 meeting in the Municipal Office basement. Lillian Keller will supervise two meals for the celebration and a secretary will type and distribute meal schedules while others assist at the ball park booth. CKLQ radio's Janice Cochrane will attend all day Saturday with the public address system and drive the CKLQ van during the parade playing country music. The Centennial Cake with 100 lights sits between Kalynuk's Hardware and Chuchmuch Bros. stores. credits go to Councillors Kalyniuk and Rubeniuk for hours spent building it. A replica cake was baked and decorated by Mrs. Harold Woodhouse, Mrs. Joe Senko, and Pat. Parade Committee members also met to discuss plans.
