Liberal plan proposes rural Manitoba medical internship
Liberal Health Critic Gulzar Cheema outlined a proposal to place certified physicians in Manitoba’s rural and northern communities via a one year internship. The program would be run with University of Manitoba, Manitoba Health Services Commission, municipalities and local hospitals, with a five year contract and cost sharing for salaries.
