Prom and community events light up Rossburn season
The Senior Prom on May 15 features Rondels Orchestra. A Rossburn Town Hall bingo Friday April 24 at 8 PM offers a $10 blackout and cash prizes, with prizes donated by Mrs Sonia Melnyk for Hospital Aid. An Ukr Ukrainian Women's League Spring Tea and Bazaar happens April 25 at 7 PM with a quilt raffle postponed from March 21. Proceeds support Fishing Lake Resort development. Various local visits and greetings are noted.

Mrs A Joiner tours Saskatoon. Birdtail WI met at Mrs R Plant home with seven members and two visitors. Jackpot ticket drawn by Barbara Maxwell and won by Mrs William Maxwell. Sheldon Brown travels to Winnipeg for MTI. Mrs Laura Veitch Jean Cleland and Wm Finch travel to Kenora Ontario to visit Ernie Finch in hospital. Ernie receives speedy recovery wishes from D Bachewich D Maxwell and Mary Saley after Coop Poultry Convention in Winnipeg.
