Rossburn Game and Fish Holds Annual Meeting and Banquet
The Rossburn Game and Fish Association held a well attended banquet and annual meeting in the Rossburn Town Hall on Tuesday April 11. Al Campbell spoke on conservation and the Game and Fish movement. The financial report showed receipts of 1163.56 and expenses of 1059.41 with a bank balance of 397.66. Predator control destroyed 1430 birds. Officers and activities were outlined including swimming classes and beach matters. Several events were announced including dances, a 50th wedding anniversary open house, a Red Cross Bingo, and a Kiwanis public speaking contest. A committee was formed to study lake crown land and a pier erection, with officer elections including C V Gunn as president.

Baby clinics begin Thursday in Rossburn hall
The Birtle-Shoal Lake Health Unit will hold the first monthly Well Baby Clinic in the Rossburn Town Hall basement Thursday afternoon from 1 30 to 3 30 free services for mothers and preschool children. Board members include M Brown for the rural municipality and H Aylwin for the village.
