Former Rossburnite Milton Stitt Buried in Rossburn
Funeral service for Milton Howard Stitt aged 61 9 months was held at the United Church February 6 with Pastor Eaton officiating. He died April 1 in London Ont hospital. Interment at Rossburn Cemetery. Surviving family includes mother Mrs J J Stitt three sisters six brothers and numerous relatives.

Weekend Fires Destroy Two Farm Homes
On Sunday April 9 the Charney farm log house in Marco district burned completely with most main floor contents saved. Origin of the fire is unknown. The next day the Gumieny Dutchuk farm frame house burned entirely while the residents were away. none of the contents were saved.
