Whyte Leads Newly Formed North Western Little League
At a Rossburn meeting the North Western Little League was formed and affiliated with the Rossburn Memorial Recreation Association. Officers include Const Whyte as President and D McIntyre as Manager. The league aims for eight to twelve year olds with teams from Angusville Vista and Rossburn. Schedule may start May 15 with two weekly games and a trophy donated by E Moffat for annual competition.

Open-Air Rink Finance Report From Rossburn 1950
The Ross burn Student Council reports December 1950 receipts of 102.85 from residents for an open-air skating rink for district children. Expenditures totaled 60.60 for flooding, clearing, fuel, and equipment with a 42.05 balance. A 27.05 gift to North West Little League supports junior boys and 15.00 remains for outdoor equipment for girls in Grades 1 to 6 at Rossburn School.
