Youth and Education Minister Donald W. Craik told the legislature that composite high schools offering a mix of academic and vocational programs are increasingly seen as the feasible high school model. Dauphin, Selkirk sites are chosen with a third planned east of the Red River. Full-time MIT and MIAA enrolment rose to 2,407 in Sept 1968 and 10,870 vocational students in 1968.
