Salt Lake Herald reports that Articles of Incorporation for the Coox Pay Railroad project will be filed soon in Salt Lake City. Pierce Critchlow and Barrette will represent the projectors here as construction advances toward linking Coos Bay with Portland. The Empire Construction Company, organized in May, is controlled by Nelson Bennett, William A. Remington, David Eccles, and W Nibley. Eccles and Nibley will oversee the Salt Lake end of the line.
