Representative Jaynes introduces a bill to amend the local option laws. Two Phillipe Sisters Kill Lynx After Dog Treed It

In Noermort Washington on January 14, sisters Faye and Florence Phillipe aged 17 and 19 fought a enraged lynx that was threatening their dog. They wrestled the dog free then both fired. Florence killed the lynx with a head shot as the dog bled. The pair carried the lynx home and displayed it in the woodshed while the dog recovered. Florence had just returned from Cottage Grove Oregon after music study.
