Ellen F. Asken ne Harring was born August 18 1620 in Bennington Genesses county New York. She moved with her parents in 1830 to Barry Pike county where in 1845 she married T A Asken. They lived in Missouri then Oregon. She joined the M church in 1843 and died in faith at Fal enhower April 4 1900. Her funeral was led by Rev J T Cotton and she is laid to rest in Roseburg Oregon Masonic Cemetery.
