Rolla Missouri Election Notice and Local Notices
Voters in Rolla Phelps County Missouri are notified of a general election for mayor, recorder, five councilmen for five years, and one councilman for one year to be held at the courthouse on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in June 1873. Voter registration is required two weeks before election. banks open for registration May 12 at the city hall and close May 19 at 6 p.m. Also reports sidewalk orders, a jail escape attempt by Stephen A. Douglas, local social events, and notices from Sempla Birge & Co. agricultural dealers in St Louis, plus Dawson township creation and Grange meetings.
