Rolfe Population Trends Spur School Enrollment Doubts
The Rolfe column notes projections from 838 residents in February 1976 to between 976 and 1359 by 2020 based on growth rates. It cites an aging population, a 247 aged 0 to 20 in 1976, and a history of school enrollment decline averaging eight students yearly. The piece laments little industrial interest in small towns and features a future food event ad.
