Tour of the West in a Ford continues across the Far West
Carl White and Earl Cook recount a Ford journey from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe and Reno. They describe coast defense guns at the Presidio, the Cliff House, Golden Gate fogs, Sacramento’s flooded streets, and a vivid Lake Tahoe visit. They note Nevada capitals, Virgin and Carson cities, and warn of rabid wildlife and harsh desert trails along the Overland route.
