Humboldt defeated Rolfe 13 to 0 in a Friday afternoon game at Humboldt. The first half was played mostly in Humboldt territory with neither side scoring. Humboldt struck first on a 40 yard run by its right halfback, then added a second touchdown after an interception on the Rolfe 25 yard line. Final score 13 0.

Library Board held two benefit teas to buy books and supplies. Rolfe Public Library has 1 398 volumes and 567 cards with 80+ weekly circulations. Library open Wednesdays and Saturdays 2 to 5 pm.

Tests over ten years show higher germination, fewer diseased kernels, and less weak seed when ears are carefully chosen. Selection period Sept 10 30. dry promptly to 15 percent moisture or lower. store in well ventilated heated spaces to prevent mold and freezing.
