Iowa fish and other vertebrates from the Conservation Commission exhibit at the Iowa State Fair were sent to the State University of Iowa for experimental cancer research. About 25 specimens including dogfish, sturgeon, eels, turtles, frogs and snakes join the study of blood vessels along vertebrate backbones led by Dr. John A. Gills.
