Mr and Mrs Joe Meschler of Browerville Minn end a week here with the Sandidges. Mrs Earl Sandy hosted the Wednesday club with 16 members and guest Mrs Dean Sandy. trip planned to Sioux City on Sept 21. Afternoon 500 winners listed. Rita McCartan honored at nurse graduates reception hosted by Art McCartan family. Attendees from afar include Falls Minn Des Moines Colorado Springs and Pocahontas. Havelock Woman's Club opened season at Mrs George Speer's. lunch served by hosts. Floyd Ferguson family and daughter were dinner guests at Nicoll home in Graettinger for birthday celebrations. Virginia Lanus and family travel to Omaha then Colorado Springs to visit relatives.

Mrs. Hannah Steen hosted a Thimble club meeting with a dainty lunch. Des Moines visitors Sharp, Carole Williams and family joined from Fort Dodge and Knoxville. Howard Gibson left for Tennessee after a farewell from the senior class. Families from Storm Lake Albert Lea and Spencer attended gatherings and visits. Norma Jean Edge in Chicago nurses training spent a day with friends near Des Moines. Activities include church circle lunch, paint projects, and travels among local residents.
