Community Swim Meet Honors Across Events

The meet featured sidestroke butterfly backstroke and top placing by Deanna Fridolfson with four firsts Rocky Nielsen Kelly Ann Wolf Micki Reigelsberger Chuck Winkleblack and John ny Young Matt Eccles earning multiple wins. Numerous individuals earned single firsts and diving honors. Out-of-town visitors attended Sunday services led by Rev Bintz with Ruth Olney on piano.

Rolfe City Council Special Meeting Adopts Bid for Lots

The Rolfe city council met August 20 1973 at 7 30 p m in city hall with Mayor Wood presiding. Sealed bids were opened for Lots 1 2 3 and 4 in Block 7 Original Town. The council voted to accept Jerry Hughes bid of 500 00 and authorized the clerk to complete the conveyance including deed. The motion carried with four affirmative votes and no opposition.
