Armistice Day Reflections and WCTU Convention Notes
In Rolfe and Pocahontas county, the Woman's Christian Temperance Union holds a county convention with resolutions urging temperance education in schools, censorship study on movies, and Armistice Day as a day of prayer. The event features papers by Mrs. Pharo and Mrs. Wheeler, medal contests, and a large attendance including Mrs. Gunderson and Mrs. MacVey. The Rolfe Union thanks judges and performers and reports upcoming meetings and local funeral attendance for WWI hero Thomas Eno.
