Ervin Kipfer returned home after four years in the U S Navy with discharge at Norfolk. A birthday gathering for Mrs. Taylor was hosted by Mrs. Phyllis Morgan who decorated a large cake. The Democratic Central Committee led by T J Raynes plans a Pea County tour next Tuesday October 19.

A 20 year old Robert Schott who joined the navy on September 21 sent a letter to his parents from Farra gut Idaho describing a sighting of Allen Simon. Harold Robert Shelgren completed Selman Field training October 2 with the largest navigation class in military history.
