A L Jones 63 retired Pocahontas farmer died October 9 in Rochester Minnesota hospital after a stay since September 29. Funeral services were held October 11 at McMahon Funeral Home and Methodist church with burial in Summit Hill cemetery. Survivors include his widow two daughters and seven grandchildren. He lived in Pocahontas County for 27 years and farmed until five years ago.
