Homemakers Tea At Clarence Jensen Home In Des Moines
About 25 attended the Homemakers Tea held at the Clarence Jensen home serving Des Moines and Powhatan townships. Community singing led by Jeanette Maasham opened the meeting with Jake Rutgers at the piano. Ruth Seaton Hicks demonstrated Home Nursing. Jake Rutgers gave a piano solo. A. A. Brinkman, county project chair, spoke briefly. Township officers and district leaders were elected and tea was served afterward.
