Plover Iowa September 3 1957 the Town Council met at 8 pm in Town Hall with Mayor W J Pollock and council members Bush Van Alstine and Jones present Absent Hoser Bergeson Bills approved include school magazine subscriptions gas oil and bat power Workmen s Comp and duties for local officials and a bulldozer dump ground Receipts show state gas tax water income total 234 89 Council votes authorize Bush to replace a broken fire hydrant and repair the old one and Van Alstine to secure water meters or repairs Clerk to bill water customers at actual cost of repairs Adjourned.
