Local families, the Grovers and Hamillds, handled business in Albert City on Thursday. A free moving picture show drew a large Saturday crowd with Heathman orchestra from Laurens providing music. J B Sheldon hosted guests including Sam Minard and grandson Donald Minard from Conrad. Sheldon couple drove to Storm Lake for Northwest Iowa Methodist Conference sessions. O F Young and B C Boysen attended the Storm Lake conference. Boysen family members returned from Holly Cole after a death in the family. John Smeltzer of Colorado visits relatives in the area.
