Two Laurens Men Sentenced on Robbery and Kidnapping
Frank Collisser and Raymond Tolley pled guilty to robbery and kidnapping charges after a mid August pursuit ending in Emmetsburg. Frederick Hudson filed indictments. Collisser received 329 years at Fort Madison for robbery with aggravation and five years for kidnapping. Tolley also received two to five years for robbery and sixty five years for kidnapping, with terms to run consecutively. Judge Joseph Hold presided in Emmetsburg.

Rolfe Alumni Homecoming Learns of Stanley Brock Rites
Funeral services for Stanley R. Brock were held Sept 26 at 2 p.m. in St. Pauls Lutheran Church Rolfe Iowa with Pastor Irving N Tange officiating. Burial followed in Clintoon Garfield Cemetery Rolfe. Brock died Sept 23 1964 at his Rolfe home after a heart attack in his garden. He was born Nov 5 1901 in Rolfe. His survivors include wife Emma daughters Evelyn Laville Roselyn 13 grandchildren and 1 2 great grandchildren and two brothers William Swea City and George Fort Dodge.
