Local teams hosted a Western Eastern jamboree with Rutland Ottosen Des Moines Bradgate and Cylinder competing. Mallards boys won 56 34 over the girls 43 82 for the east and westerners faced mixed results in a lively evening of hoops.

Special Service In Charge Church Society held a Sunday service in Bradgate with hymns prayers and the Life of John Wesley lesson. The Get Together Club is postponed with Friday afternoon meeting set at Miss Beryl Dickey home. P. T. A. study group met at the school, lunch served by Mrs. Lars Larson and Mrs. S. Onnen, lesson led by Mrs. E. M. Zeman and Miss Anderson. Families from Livermore attended Tom Jolliffe home dinner. Basketball jamboree held at Plover with no scores kept. Local residents attended the games and visits followed.

Township Chairman Sends 175 Seals via Mail
The township chairman Mrs N E Higby mailed one hundred seventy five Christmas seals Friday morning. The Rebekah lodge met Thursday evening at the I O C F hall with West Bend and Humboldt lodge members present. Delegate Mrs Packard of Renwick could not attend. Refreshments were served after the meeting by several members. 45 attended. The Madsen family visited relatives and celebrated Virginia Wulff's eleventh birthday.
