Pocahontas News Briefs From Fort Dodge Court and Local Events
Two Fort Dodge men paid fines for carrying guns in their car after a Pocahontas justice of the peace action. Norman Hotovee, in the navy, was advanced to aviation machinist mate third class and is based in El Centro California since June 20 1955. Vincent Krejchi of San Francisco visited Pocahontas with work ties to United Airlines from November 8 to 17. A son was born November 1 at Mercy hospital Fort Dodge to Mr and Mrs Larry Ballard. Funeral services were held for Fred Cromlager 84 formerly of Plover, with burial at Summit Hill cemetery. Linda Lou Mumford daughter of Mr and Mrs Herbert Mumford Pocahontas died November 12 at Mercy hospital Fort Dodge. twin sister Cinda Lee survives with parents and grandparents.

Harvey Fohner and wife ended a Laurens visit with sister Butler Parris then departed for Cheyenne after a two year Budapest assignment as Air Force attache.
