Former Rolfe School Man Meets Death in Montana
A. T. Rutledge 58 prominent Bozeman ranch owner and banker died when his Buick left the road near Belgrade Montana. He was a former Rolfe schools superintendent and wealthy landholder with ties to the Bozeman valley. Survived by his wife two daughters Lenore Erwin and Ruth Brisenten both in Chicago and son Hart Rutledge in Chicago.

Delightful auto trip to Stillwater Oklahoma
Mrs. B F Showers and Ed gar joined by E E Wilcox and Marion Bruce drove from Rolfe to Stillwater Oklahoma to visit the W H Wilcox family and return. The 680 mile trip out and 650 mile return covered Iowa Missouri Kansas Nebraska and Oklahoma with no car trouble and good weather. The Boss drove fourteen hours. Edgar Showers night driving. The Wilcox family hosted visits including Powc a City and 101 Ranch. Mrs Wilcox cooked well and hopes for another trip.

The weekly church routine includes classes at 10 a.m. worship at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. with Epworth League at 6:30 p.m. A two week men versus women attendance contest follows the morning service which features Rev. Elderly Addie Predmore Dies After Gall Bladder Attack
Mrs. Addie Predmore aged eighty five years died in Chicago after a gall bladder attack. Born March 8 1845 in Bainbridge New York she lived in Independence Iowa and Chicago before moving to Kansas to reside with her daughter. Survived by two daughters Mrs M D Romig and Mrs J P Lester, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral and burial occurred in Chicago at the Masonic Cemetery.

Laurens High defeated Rolfe 39 to 0 to claim the county football title. The match drew the largest Rolfe crowd this season, with Laurens using a deceptive passing attack and fast plays to dominate. Rolfe’s Eddie Calligan, hurt early, left the field and impacted morale as Laurens logged a clear victory.
