Halloween Picnic Surprise at Garfield Cornell School

Pupils of Miss Mary Rut gers school treated teacher with a picnic and games last Friday. A Halloween bell went missing from the Garfield District No. 1 Cornell school and was later found broken along the road. The director Mrs Frank Atherton reported the bell damaged and the act saddens the community. The High School glee clubs begin work on an operetta Captain Cross bones to be staged December 6. Home economics students prepare breakfast foods and will announce a public breakfast. Visitors Mrs E J Struthers Mrs Ed Weiland and Mrs Mary Peterson attended fourth grade.
