Pocahontas County Roads Earn Praises and Puzzling Politics

The writer skewers party politics after a campaign season, noting lies as cheap publicity, reflecting on past presidential tickets and the Electoral College.

Political contest and the 1928 campaign reflections
The piece argues politics as a game, blesses a militant minority party, and cites Al Smith HOOVER and vice presidential handicaps.
