Suzanne Phillips and Martha Wood hosted 34 youths at a Wood home Hallowe'en party on October 29 with games and lunch. The Past Matron society met at Mrs T S Clark’s home also on October 29 with readings and a spell-down won by Mrs W S Butler. Eastern Star plans a November 11 dinner and initiatory work. Friendly Circle meets November 7 with co host Mrs Leezrénce Hilton. The Tuesday club gathered at Mrs H F Olerich’s for Travel program and a personality quiz from Mrs J E Hynds. jr of Akron.

Training Sessions Begin At Local Methodist Church
The first of five Sunday evening workers training sessions was held at the local Methodist church with nearly 50 attendees. Represented towns included Pocahontas Gilmore City Bradgate and Rolfe. The next session is scheduled for Sunday November 9 at 7 00 p m with a theme on Christian education and a set of pictures titled Let the Children Come to feature the service.
