St Pauls ALCW met October 12 with Pastor Asp leading Bible study and Mamie Sime presiding over officer elections. Circles Met October 26 at various homes, hosting programs and devotions. nine to twelve members attended. Justamere Club held Contract Bridge with Lois Sroufe high scorer on October 31. Bridgettes Club met October 27 for dessert and bridge prizes. United Methodist Sub Groups held meetings across four sites in October with devotions, programs, and guests. Terrace Hill Society drives set for November 15 with a church history slide presentation at Pocahontas Holy Name Hall.
Membership donations will be accepted and appreciated with several town chairwomen listed for Pocahontas Palmer Rolfe Lau rens and Havelock. A card shower honors Mrs Minnie Jarvis of Rolfe turning 100 on Saturday November 12 at Sunset Hill Manor.
Announcement of the approaching marriage of Jan Marie Spencer daughter of Mrs Eden Spencer Rolfe and the late William Spencer to Theron Vincent Wilson son of Mrs Bertha Wilson West Bend and the late Virgil Wilson. The wedding is planned for December 18 at the United Methodist Church Rolfe.
Lisa Marie Pearson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Pearson of Pomeroy, arrived October 27 1977 weighing seven pounds fourteen ounces. She has a sister Amy 21 months old. Grandparents are Mr. Forrest Tutt of Rolfe and Mrs Florence Pearson. great grandmother is Mrs Anna McIntire of Rolfe.
