In a special session May 15 1973 at City Hall Mayor A H Olson presided with councilors Cloos Johnson Law Thacker and Too present. Leon Larson to serve as Fire Chief and Ambulance Chief as supervisor until May 1 1974. Bids considered for backhoe and loader with a used W7 Case 4 wheel drive bought from All Wheel Drive Co. Library funded from Federal Revenue Sharing for capital improvements. Health hazard declared on House on Lot 7 Block 9 East Gilmore City and ordered demolished. Private contracts sought for street paving along S E D Avenue with Iowa Road Builders Co.
