The junior senior banquet was held at the school on Saturday May 26 with a rainbow decor theme in the reception and banquet rooms. Guests enjoyed a colorful menu and program topics led by Erma Hauswirth and others, followed by a commencement remembrance service at the local Methodist church.

Mrs Mugene Daniels hosted twelve little girls at her home last Thursday afternoon for Marion Mae Daniels birthday anniversary. The guests enjoyed games and contests with prizes and dolls as favors, followed by an excellent lunch.
Palmer family and relatives surprised Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lothian with a Sunday visit in Rolfe as they celebrated their twentieth anniversary. The self-invited guests arrived with well-filled baskets and enjoyed a noon family dinner.
John Ralle a longtime Havelock resident died at his home Tuesday May 22 1934 after a brief illness. Born in Sele machim Norway on August 2 1858 he came to America at 21 and lived in Havelock since his marriage to Anna Rudolf in 1886. He leaves wife four children two brothers a sister four grandchildren and many friends. Funeral was held at the local Methodist church with Rev C L Day officiating and interment in Washington Cemetery.
